How to Donate Plants for the Merrimac Farm Conservation Landscape

Decide what you can donate - Please check the plant list here to see the species we need and how many of each we can use. These are the species we need; if we have substitutions later, we'll post that info on the plant list.

Let us know - We are asking people/groups interested in donating plants to send a list of the species with the number of plants to alliance[at]pwconserve.org so we can track quantities.

Once we receive your email, we'll respond to confirm how many of each species we need and specifics on drop locations. We have four drop locations: (1) Lake Ridge near Tackett's Mill, (2) Manassas off Sudley Road, (3) Gainesville near Silver Lake, and (4) Merrimac Farm in Nokesville. Everyone will also receive a reminder at the end of September, which will include info on your original donation list.

Deliver your plants to a drop location in early October - You will receive specifics on the drop locations in the reminder email in late September. We'll be planting on Saturday, October 15. We hope you can wait until close to that date to dig the plants, better for the plants and us.
