Dress for successWhat to wear

No matter the weather, appropriate attire for Merrimac Farm is always long pants, sturdy shoes and long socks. Tuck your pants in your socks to help stop insects from crawling up your legs

Hats are good to wear. Dark colors attract insects, which are also harder to spot on dark colors. On the other hand, white and other light colors make you more visible to wildlife, which tends to move away. Ideally you want to blend in with the surroundings while protecting yourself from insects as much as possible.
