Bluebell Festival at Merrimac Farm
Sunday, April 7, from 10:00am to 4:00pm

Sponsored by Prince William Conservation Alliance and Virginia Dept. of Game & Inland Fisheries with support from Marine Corps Base Quantico

At the Bluebell FestivalPlease join us to welcome spring and view the spectacular display of Virginia Bluebells that carpet the floodplain along Cedar Run for nearly a mile. In the words of one visitor, it's like walking through Oz.

A bake sale and a hand-painted rain barrel raffle to benefit stewardship projects at Merrimac Farm will round out the event. Concessions and food from N.C. Ribs on Wheels will be available for purchase.

We've scheduled a series of tours which last about 90 minutes and take an easy one-mile walk through the floodplain. Each tour has a special focus, although leaders cover all interesting sights. Bring binoculars, cameras and the kids!
